‘Temporary closure order’ sa bar sa QC, binawi ng BPLD

BINAWI ng Quezon City Business Permits and Licensing Department (BPLD) ang temporary closure order na inisyu sa En Route Distillery Bar sa Tomas Morato Ave., sa lungsod.

Ang naturang establi­simiyento ay unang ipinasara ng BPLD noong 12 Hulyo dahil sa paglabag umano sa safety standards at umiiral na national and local quarantine guidelines.

Pero binawi din ng BPLD ang pagpapasara matapos na makapag-comply ang naturang bar sa umiiral na kondisyon at protocols.

“We were quick to close down violators, but we also support their reopening as soon as we are assured that they are complying with ordinances, laws and guidelines,” ayon kay BPLD head Margie Santos.

Matatandaang pinaig­ting ng mga awtoridad ang kautusan ng Quezon City government, na mag­sagawa ng random inspection sa mga business establishments sa lungsod upang matiyak na tumatalima sila sa health and safety protocols, gayondin sa local at national quarantine guidelines.

Ang mga establisi­miyento na mahuhuling may mga nagawang paglabag ay agad na ipinasasara ng city government, sa pama­magitan ng BPLD.

Nitong Sabado, ikinandado ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) at ng Task Force Disiplina ang Guilly’s Island Restaurant and Bar, Karma Lounge at Batcave Music Bar matapos mag-operate nang lampas sa public safety hours at napatunayang lumabag sa health and safety protocols, gayondin sa local at national quarantine guidelines.

Nasa 29 empleyado at 10 kostumer ng Guilly’s Island Restaurant and Bar, nag-o-operate ng paso ang business permit, ang inisyuhan ng mga awtoridad ng Ordinance Violation Receipts (OVR).

Ayon kay Mayor Joy Belmonte, hindi sila maaaring magpabaya at dapat lalong maging mahigpit ngayong may mga lokal na kaso na ng Delta variant ng CoVid-19 na natukoy sa bansa.

Nanawagan rin siya ng pagiging vigilante at suporta sa mga residente para isumbong ang mga naturang establisimiyento na lalabag sa protocols dahil maaari itong maging superspreader events o sanhi ng malawakang pagkalat ng virus.

“We can not let our guard down especially with the revelation of health experts that community transmission of the Delta variant has been detected. Vigilance and the support of QCitizens in reporting erring establishments would prevent superspreader events and the widespread transmission of Covid-19,” paliwanag ng QC Mayor. (ALMAR DANGUILAN)
