“Wonder why zombies, zombie apocalypse, and zombie preparedness continue to live or walk dead on a CDC web site?” saad sa landing page nito. “As it turns out, what first began as a tongue-in-cheek campaign to engage new audiences with preparedness messages has proven to be a very effective platform. We continue to reach and engage a wide variety of audiences on all hazards preparedness via ‘zombie preparedness’.”

“I think it’s great. As we’ve seen with coronavirus, disaster preparedness is crucial,” punto ni University at Buffalo’s Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences professor John Sellick.

Sumang-ayon dito si Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) – certified natural disaster preparedness instructor Cheryl Nelson, pundador ng grupong Prepare with Cher, agreed: “I think this is brilliant. It is definitely an attention-getter and it makes preparing fun. The more creative ways we can get the preparedness message out, the better.”

“(The CDC) is simply trying to make disaster preparedness relatable to different populations,” sinubukang ipaliwanag ni Rutgers School of Public Health’s Department of Urban and Global Public Health associate professor Mitchel Rosen.
