Face-to-face classes sa CoVid-19 low-risk areas aprub kay Duterte (Sa Enero 2021)

 APROBADO kay Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang plano ng Department of Education (DepEd) na magsagawa ng pilot face-to-face classes sa mga lugar na may mababang kaso ng CoVid-19 sa buong buwan ng Enero 2021.

“The Palace informs that President Rodrigo Roa Duterte approved during tonight’s Cabinet meeting, December 14, 2020, the presentation of the Department of Education (DepEd) to conduct pilot implementation or dry run of face-to-face classes in select schools within areas with low COVID-risk for the whole month of January 2021,” ayon sa kalatas ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque kagabi.

Ngunit boluntrayo lamang aniya ito at depende sa desisyon ng mga mag-aaral at kanilang mga magulang pero walang binanggit ang DepEd kung hihingin din nito ang permiso ng mga guro sa CoVid-19 low-risk areas kung papayag na magturo sa face-to-face classes kahit hindi kasama ang mga guro sa pagkakalooban ng gobyerno ng Special Risk Allowance (SRA) at Active Hazard Duty Pay (AHDP).

Sinabi ni Roque na makikipagtulungan ang DepEd sa CoVid-19 National Task Force para sa pagmo-monitor ng pagdaraos ng face-to-face classes.

“The DepEd shall coordinate with the CoVid-19 National Task Force (NTF) for the monitoring of the conduct of the pilot implementation,” aniya.

“The pilot shall be done under strict health and safety measures, and where there is commitment for shared responsibility among DepEd, local government units and parents,” dagdag niya.

Noong nakaraang buwan ay tinutulan ni Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año ang mga panukalang magdaos ng face-to-face classes dahil maaaring maging sanhi ng pagtaas ng kaso ng CoVid-19. (ROSE NOVENARIO)
