Bora isinara (Sa loob ng 6 buwan)

ANIM na buwan sarado ang Boracay Island simula ngayong 26 Abril.

Ito ang naging pasya ni Pangulong Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte batay sa rekomendadyon ng  inter-agency task force na kinabibilangan ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) at Department of Tourism (DOT).

Ang ulat ay batay sa inisyal na impormasyon ni Presidential Spokesman, Secretary Harry Roque kagabi habang nagaganap ang ika-24 Cabinet meeting sa Palasyo.

Matatandaan, nagbanta ang Pangulo na sasampahan ng kasong Sedisyon ang mga lokal na opisyal ng Boracay at resort owners kapag hindi sumunod sa closure order ng national government.

“Kasi kung ayaw nilang mag-cooperate and they begin to protest, e kayo naman may kasalanan diyan you are responsible for the damage all these years, pati ‘yung local officials who are all nonchalant of the problem there, arestohin ko kayong lahat,” ani Duterte sa kanyang talumpati sa 2nd Kanlahi Festival sa Tarlac City kamakailan.

“And if you put up a fight I will charge you for sedition, preventing government to do what is good for the Filipino people,” dagdag niya.
