“The car I gave Andre is not a birthday gift. It’s a pang binata kind of gift.
“As soon as I heard from him na may date siya, I immediately asked him to come see me. I asked my driver to prepare my car. It’s a vintage car, three decades old. I gave it to him because it’s my hero car. It’s the only car I kept from my racing days with Toyota team Toms. It was the time when we dominated the Motorsport scene in the Philippines. It’s André’s hero car too.
“He knows that it’s my best kept trophy(the car) and it has a name. ‘Dragonfly’.
“I gave it to him as sign of parenthood and manhood. It’s a bond that no one will ever understand. The bond of a father and son. Something that no one can ever take away from us. Siyempre, krayola teary eyed at speechless si bagets.
“When I called him up the next day to check on him, he said the first thing he did was to rush out in the garage to see if the car was really there or was it just a dream. Super happy for him.”
Hindi rin naman ikinakaila ni Konsi Jom na he is very much in love ngayon. Sa babaeng nagpapaganda ng ikot ng mundo niya.
“Next event I should be ready. Apart from the Yahoo thing, ayan clue na ‘yan, one special thing ang gagawin ko, ang pagpapakilala na ng girlfriend ko sa inyo.”
