Grupong destab terror org — Sara Duterte

WALANG ipinagkaiba ang banta ng destabilisasyon sa terorismo.

Ito ang tinuran ni presidential daughter at Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte bilang tugon sa mga grupo at mga personalidad na bumabatikos sa pahayag ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na magtatayo ng revolutionary government sa harap ng mga banta ng destabilisasyon laban sa kanyang administrasyon.

“The threat of destabilization is as real as terrorism,” ani Inday Sara sa kalatas kahapon.

Giit niya, ginagamit ng mga grupo at mga indibidwal ang negatibong reaksiyon sa bantang revolutionary government ng kanyang ama upang ikubli ang tunay na intensiyon laban sa administrasyong Duterte.

“Power grabbers have made their point, made their presence felt, caught our attention, and we know who they are,” aniya.

Tinawag ni Inday Sara na gutom sa kapangyarihan si Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV at ang grupong Tindig Pilipinas at hindi puwedeng maging dahilan para ma-insecure ang Pangulo ng bansa.

Ang Punong Ehekutibo aniya ay hindi maaaring kabahan at ma-praning sa oposisyon at sa resulta ng survey dahil hawak niya ang kapangyarihan.

“How can he be  insecure when he is the president? When you are the president, there is nothing that will make you feel insecure — not a survey results or a person like Trillanes or a power-hungry group called Tindig Pilipinas,” aniya.

Binigyan-diin ng presidential daughter, ang mga isiniwalat ng Pangulo kaugnay sa destabilisasyon ay galing sa intel reports at mapagkakatiwalaang sources mula sa mga tanggapan ng mga taong kaalyado ng oposisyon.

“All his (President Duterte) destabilization claims are from intel reports and reliable sources from inside the offices of the people identified with the opposition,” sabi ni Inday Sara.

Batay sa Section 17 ng Republic Act No. 9372 o Human Security Act o Anti-Terror Law, hindi kailangan inorganisa ang isang grupo para maglunsad ng terorismo upang mataguriang terrorist organization.

Kapag ang isang pangkat ay nagsasagawa ng mga aksiyon na maghahasik ng takot at maghuhulma ng kondisyon nang malawakan at kakaibang pangamba at panic sa publiko upang gipitin ang gobyerno para bumigay sa isang ilegal na hirit, puwedeng hilingin ng Department of Justice (DoJ) sa hukuman na ideklara itong terrorist organization.

“SEC. 17. Proscription of Terrorist Organizations, Association, or Group of Persons. – Any organization, association, or group of persons organized for the purpose of engaging in terrorism, or which, although not organized for that purpose, actually uses the acts to terrorize mentioned in this Act or to sow and create a condition of widespread and extraordinary fear and panic among the populace in order to coerce the government to give in to an unlawful demand shall, upon application of the Department of Justice before a competent Regional Trial Court, with due notice and opportunity to be heard given to the organization.”
