”But the main goal is to find out what really happened before that. Tapos, the failure of the mission. Hindi naman siya failure. Kasi nakuha naman nila ang gusto nila. But we lost 44 soldiers.
“Wala pa kaming shooting date for that. But we already brought in to the project, si Piolo and Spring Films. We’ve been talking to Joyce Bernal about it since last year.
“And then we also brought in for another role si Dingdong and his company Agosto Dos. But we’re not rushing the project. It’s not a small project.
“The reason for the Crouching Tiger (award na iginawad sa kanila ni Dondon Monteverde sa Macau), it’s a project pitch for East-West collaboration. So East-West collaboration, meaning, there are segments in the story na hindi lang siya purely Pinoy or purely Asian.
The ‘Pintakasi’ story has an American angle too. Siguro nagustuhan nila.
“We met some interested companies who are willing to explore the project with us. Hopefully, we’ll get a little more funding or a little more support internationally,” kuwento ng direktor.
”Okay na kami! Okay na kami. I mean, there was a bit of parang miscommunication that was a year ago but we already sat down. We’ve discussed ‘Tiktik 3’.
“We sat down with Dingdong. We’re exploring some Marian (Rivera) projects. We’re doing a pitch for Marian. Oo we’re all gentlemen and we’ve all talked about it!” mahabang kuwento ni direk Erik.
