Battery-powered ‘rollercoaster train’ inilunsad ng China

INILUNSAD ng China ang world’s first battery-powered hanging trains na nakabitin sa ere at katulad ng rollercoasters.

Ang nakamamanghang hanging carriages ay kinuhaan ng video sa Chengdu, na umaabot ang bilis sa 37mph sa upside down monorail.

Ang kagila-gilalas ng tren, umaandar sa lithium batteries, ay maaaring sakyan ng 120 pasahero bawat bagon.

Ngunit wala pang official opening date na inianunsyo para sa nasabing suspended railway, na ang pagsubok ay inaasahang ipagpapatuloy kasunod nang matagumpay na pagtakbo.

Sinabi ni Zhai Wanming, chief designer ng proyekto, sa People’s Daily China, ang bagong tren ay higit na cost-effective at environmentally friendly kompara sa electric at diesel rail sytems.
