GRP-NDF peace talks sinasabotahe ng LP — Bayan

SINASABOTAHE ng Liberal Party ang umuusad nang usapang pangkapayapaan ng administrasyong Duterte at Communist Party of the Philippines – New People’s Army – National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF).

Ito ang pahayag ni Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) secretary general Renato Reyes kaugnay sa kumalat na bogus media advisory kahapon na nag-iimbita para sa media coverage kaugnay sa sinasabing sabay-sabay na pagbibitiw ng mga maka-kaliwang presidential appointees na sina DSWD Secretary Judy Taguiwalo, Agrarian Reform Secretary Rafael Mariano, Anti-Poverty Commission head Liza Maza at Labor Undersecretary Joel Maglunsod.

“Apparently it is being circulated among reporters who covered the LP. So we all know who may be behind it. Possibly linked to the opening of peace talks. Intriga lang. Cheap,” ani Reyes.

Inihayag ni Taguiwalo, black propaganda ang nasabing bogus media advisory.

Sina Taguiwalo, Mariano at Maza ay dumalo sa cabinet meeting kahapon sa Palasyo.

Sa ipinadalang bogus media advisory, sinasabing kakalas sa administrasyon ang apat na leftist government officials bilang protesta sa nagaganap na extrajudicial killings at pagpayag ni Pangulong Rodrigo na maihimlay sa Libingan ng mga Bayani si dating Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos.

I support the peace talks and all efforts that will pursue genuine peace based on justice in our country.”

Nagpadala ng text message (SMS) ang may-ari ng Kamuning Bakery and Cafe na si Wilson Lee Flores nang ganito: “Gudpm. Nitong mga nakaraang araw, sina senators Leila de Lima at Risa Hontiveros, pawang mula sa LP, ay lantarang binabatikos ang isyu ng EJKs at Marcos burial.

Ang mga opisyal ng Akbayan party-list na kinabibilangan ni Hontiveros ay nakasungkit ng mga sensitibong posisyon noong PNoy administration at napaulat na nasa likod nang pagkadiskaril ng peace talks noon.

Kahapon, pormal nang nagsimula ang peace talks sa Oslo, Norway at nakadalo ang 22 NDF consultants na sunod-sunod na pinalaya alinsunod sa ipinangako ni Duterte, na lahat ng detenidong lider-komunista ay makalalahok sa usapang pangkapayapaan mula Agosto 22-27.

Nauna rito, nagdeklara ng 7-day unilateral ceasefire ang CPP-NPA noong nakaraang Biyernes habang ang pamahalaan ay nagtakda ng indefinite unilateral ceasefire nitong Sabado.
