Media Entrepreneur and Tech-CEO, Nijel de Mesa (who is also a renowned international filmmaker) is the first and only Filipino business and tech leader to join the global coalition “Beyond Mainstream Alliance.”

The coalition unites streaming platforms spanning across the globe including AMC Networks’ Acorn TV, ALLBLK, HIDIVE, Shudder, and Sundance Now; Crunchyroll; Golf Central; Lightning International; NDM+; OUTtv; Pure Flix; Rakuten Viki; The Roku Channel; SonyLiv; Sony One; Tubi; and Zee5.

Beyond Mainstream: A Global Streaming Alliance is a coalition of streaming services with audiences in nearly every country worldwide. The group advocates for fair and proportionate regulations for these specialized platforms, ensuring viewers everywhere can continue to choose and access a diverse range of content and streaming options.

Beyond Mainstream aims to provide a unique, collective voice for specialized services in the streaming industry. The coalition will work to ensure a more equitable regulatory environment where members have a strong collective voice in global regulatory and policy debates.

NDM PLUS is a premium global streaming platform positioned as the “Home of Unique Storytelling” with the unapologetic tagline, “We’re Not for Everyone”. The platform boasts of an all-original library that is all owned by the company without any material acquired or licensed from other third party. Remarkable and award-winning films such as: Malditas in Maldives, KontrAdiksyon, Coronaphobiaand many more—are exclusively streaming on only on NDM Plus.

With the gaining popularity of NDM Plus especially in the luxury space, this has catapulted NDM PLUS and Nijel de Mesa into the global marketplace for international brand recognition.
