“GUMAGAWA tayo ng pelikula para sa mga Filipino.” Ito ang iginiit ni CineFilipino Film Festival Competition Head na si Jose Javier Reyes sa paglulunsad ng CineFilipino Filmfest kamakailan.
Aniya, “We’re looking forward to all the works of art our finalist are bringing to this year’s CineFilipino Film Festival. We believe we’ve chosen the best of both professional and aspiring Filipino filmmakers in the end, it’s not just about good stories, but also about storytellers.”
Sinabi naman ni festival director, Madonna Tarrayo, “We may find the next great Filipino filmmaker, as well as the next great Filipino film, in the festival. CineFilipino supports the celebration of 100 years of Philippine Cinema, and we’re always on the look out for exceptional talent that can help drive the artand industry in the present and future.”
Bale nasa ikalimang taon na ang CineFilipino Film Festival at ngayong tao’y nakikiisa ito sa 100 years ng Philippine Cinema.
Kasabay ng paglulunsad ng ikalimang Cine Filipino Filmfest ang paghahayag ng mga napiling pelikula para sa Feature Length film, Short film, at Series category.
Napili sa Feature length film ang pelikula nina Jopy Arnaldo, 27 EXP; Charlson Ong at Angelo R. Lacuesta, Cargo; Sue Aspiras, Homecoming; Christopher Gozum, Ilikdem Mo So Matam; Steven Paul Evangelio, Maya-maya Paparito Na; JP Habac, Olsen’s Day; Rob Jara, Ouroboros; at Dolly Dulu, The Boy Foretold by the Stars.
