LGBT groups, people’s org. at iba pang civil society, magtitipon-tipon para sa Quezon City Pride March

MAPUPUNO na naman ng fun and camaraderie ang isang hanay ng Morato Avenue sa Quezon City sa Sabado at Linggo (December 5 and 6) dahil sa pagdiriwang ng 2nd Quezon City Pride March.

Ang tahanan ng pinakamalaking pride celebration ang siya na namang magsisilbing host sa muling pagsasama-sama ng LGBT groups, people’s organizations at iba pang civil society representatives.

Magkakaiba at Nagkakaisa (Diverse and United) ang tema ng pagdiriwang sa taong ito.

Ayon sa Ama ng Quezon City na si Herbert Bautista, “We know that the best way to change people’s perspectives is to continuously educate the public on gender awareness and rights and this could be done first by supporting the visibilityn of LGBT people. Celebrations  such as the Pride March are one way to realize that aim!”
