POSIBLENG maging freelancer na si Alice Dixson kapag nagtapos ang contract niya sa TV5 sa January 2015. Ayon sa aktres, may basbas na ito ng TV5.
Sinabi ni Alice na gusto niyang maging freelancer next year.
“Iyon ang plano ko, pero ewan ko kung matutuloy. There have been feelers, pero siyempre I’ll always want to give priority to my home station, TV5. They have an option to renew and they’re the ones who gave me a break when I came back in 2011.
“So, may utang na loob ako sa kanila. I would’t be here, I would’t have had all the opportunities had they not given me the first project in Ang Babaeng Hampaslupa.
“Actually, TV5 has already given me permission to do TV shows sa ibang network. Pina-yagan na nila ako and we’ve been in talks with both networks for a regular TV show. So, ang TV5 ay hindi madamot, kaya happy talaga ako sa Happy Network,” saad ni Alice.
Pero dapat ba ay hindi exclusive ang contract mo para makakalabas ka pa rin sa TV5? “No, that’s why, I’d like to be a freelancer next year.”
Nabanggit din ng magandang Ka-patid star na may plano ang TV5 na gawan siya ng isang tra-vel show. “There is a plan to do a travel show for me, but it’s still under the radar pa.
“I love to travel and I’d love to do it. Kasi matanong ako, when I go places, I wanna find out siyempre the nice places to go, the good food to eat, the most reasonable accommodations to stay in. For a Filipino traveler, those are the things on the top list.
“Ako naman, I’m not a maarte traveler, I’m a back packer. So, kahit saan mo ako ilagay ay puwede ako.”
Si Alice ang isa sa muse na ipinarada ng San Miguel Beer sa historic opening ng 40th season ng PBA na ginanap sa Philippine Arena sa Bulacan last Sunday na dinaluhan ng 52,612 basketball fans.
Ika-anim na pagiging PBA muse na ito ni Alice. Una ay sa Crispa, Lhuillier, Alaska, Great Taste, Talk ‘N Text, at San Miguel Beer para sa taong ito.
“The year that nag-muse ako sa Talk ‘n Text, they won. That was in 2012. So, this year, I’m hoping na maging lucky charm din ako. In ’86 or ’87, Crispa was also the champion. So, fifty percent out of one hundred,” naka-ngiting pahayag pa niya.
