Customs doble bantay sa ber months

THE holiday season is almost near, expected ng Bureau of Customs that more importation in the coming months.

At tiyak din na more smuggled goods ang dapat bantayan tulad ng mga substandard Christmas lights, fireworks, toys, mga agricultural products and vegetables.

The bureau of Customs under Comm. John Sevilla, vows to extra alert in the implementation of all import requirements/policy tulad ng mga import permit and clearances.

Naniniwala kasi sila that smugglers will force their way in the country with their smuggled goods pero tinitiyak niya na huhulihin at kakasuhan kapag nagpumilit sila sa baluktot na importation.

Malaking tulong ang Ber months sa revenue collections ng Customs this coming holiday season.

The BOC is also very aware of our enviromental problem especially the ozone layer that causes skin cancer,kaya pinag utos din ni Commissioner Sevilla sa BOC- environmental protection unit (epu) na tiyakin na walang makakapuslit na used appliances sa ating bansa without proper documentation and clearance from the environmental management bureau .
