Boy Abunda’s winning streak continues as he won the Best Public Affairs Program Host for Bottomline in the recently concluded PMPC Star Awards for Television. Bottomline also won the Best Public Affairs Program. The King of Talk has been most awarded for his work as television host. He was inducted to the PMPC Hall of Fame as Best Showbiz Talk Show Host in 2011 having won in this category for 15 consecutive years. As a public affairs program host, Boy Abunda started with the iconic Private Conversations. The show earned for him the Best Public Affairs Program Host for many years from the PMPC. With Bottomline, Boy Abunda made successive wins as Best Public Affairs Program Host in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. “The journey continues. I am still learning but I always try to give my best. Sitti, the country’s one and only bossa nova queen, will release her newest album, Bossa Love. The release of the album coincides with her concert on November 28, 8pm, at the Music Museum. Bossa Love features Sitti’s signature bossa sound with the exciting tracks including the carrier single “Sunday Morning” (a cover of the song by Maroon 5), “It Wasn’t Me” by Shaggy, “Stickwithu” by the Pussycat Dolls, “Back To You” by John Mayer, “Smooth” by Santana, “Someday We’ll Know” by New Radicals, “My Favorite Mistake” by Sheryl Crow, “I Want It That Way” by the Backstreet Boys, “Yellow” by Coldplay, “Lost Without You” by Robin Thicke, “Don’t Know Why” by Norah Jones, “For You” by Kenny Lattimore, “Waterfalls” by TLC, and “Thank You” by Dido.
