85% NG KABATAAN APRUB NA PATALSIKIN SI VP SARA

MAYORYA ng college students ang naniniwala na dapat mapatalsik sa kanyang puwesto si Vice President Sara Duterte, ito ang lumabas sa isinagawang survey ng Centre for Student Initiatives.

Ayon kay Maria Aquino, CSI Director for Operations, resulta ng naturang surveys ay nagpapakita na hindi masaya ang mga kabataang Filipino sa liderato ni Vice President Duterte lalo na ang kawalan niya ng pananagutan at dishonesty partikular na ang kanyang paggastos sa confidential funds ng kanyang tanggapan.

Magugunitang noong 5 Pebrero ng taong kasalukuyan ay ini-impeached ng Mababang Kapulungan ng Kongreso si Duterte matapos akusahan ng graft and corruption.

Batay sa resulta ng survey, ang kabuuang 1,696  mula sa 2,000 respondents o  84.8%, ay sumagot ng “yes” sa kuwestiyon na “Do you believe Sara Duterte should be removed from office?”

“Though it is nice that we were able to confirm it, the results are somehow expected. Previous surveys, including student mock polls conducted ahead of the 2022 vice presidential elections, gave us a glimpse of how the youth perceive Sara Duterte’s leadership or lack thereof,” ani Aquino.

Sa naturang survey din ay nais ng 73.9% (1,477 mula sa 2,000) respondents na mag-convene na ang impeachment court bago ang halalan sa Mayo.

Pinangunahan ng CSI ang survey sa pamamagitan ng online mula noong 28 Pebrero hanggang 16 Marso gamit ang non-probability sampling.
