SINELYUHAN na ng TV5 at ABS-CBN ang limang taong content agreement nila bilang patunay ng kanilang pagsasama na magbibigay daan para makapagbigay ng dekalidad na TV entertainment sa Filipino audiences.
Ang pagsasanib ng TV5 at ABS-CBN ay patunay na makapagbibigay ng mga top-rated program sa araw-araw gayundin tuwing Sabado at Sunday naman sa primetime slots. Mapapanood ang mga paboritong panoorin tulad ng FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, The Iron Heart, Dirty Linen, at The Tale of Nokdu mula Lunes-Biyernes.
Tuwing Sabado at Linggo ay mapapanood naman ang Everybody Sing at ASAP Natin ‘To.
Bukod sa content agreement, magko-collaborate rin ang TV5 at ABS-CBN sa dalawang afternoon soaps, ang Pira Pirasong Paraiso at Nagbabagang Damdamin na ilulunsad ngayong ngayong Hulyo bilang parte ng TV5 sa kanilangHapon Champion block.
Ilan lamang ito sa maraming proyektong pagsasamahan ng TV5 at ABS-CBN na parte ng kanilang commitment na bumuo ng creative collaboration.
“We are very happy to sign this new agreement for the next five years. It’s a partnership which we’ve been very happy with. I think there are a lot of opportunities that we can do together,” ani ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopezsa isang interbyu nang maganap ang pirmahan.
“I think we have a lot of programs in store for our audience moving forward so tuloy-tuloy lang. We’ll make sure that we make the right content for everyone,” dagdag pa ni Lopez.
Sinabi naman ni TV5 president at CEO Guido Zaballero natip of the iceberg pa lamang ang limang taong pagsasama nila.
“We are also working with ABS-CBN for co-prods for the afternoon and continue to develop good content together,” ani Zaballero.
“We intend to strengthen our partnership with ABS-CBN. Like they say, stronger together. It is our firm belief that by solidifying it with the five-year partnership, we can also grow together,” dagdag pa ni Zaballero.
Dumalo rin sa contract signing sina ABS-CBN president at CEO Carlo Katigbak, chief operating officer for broadcast Cory Vidanes, chief partnership officer Roberto Barreiro, at head ng finance operations Catherine Lopez.
Sa parte naman TV5 dinaluhan iyon nina MediaQuest Holdings chairman Manny Pangilinan, MediaQuest president at CEO Jane Jimenez-Basas, PLDT head of business transformation Victorico Vargas, at TV5 chief finance officer Pierre Paul Buhay.
