Irma Payod Bitzer, itinanghal na Mrs. Philippines International 2023

ANG pambato ng Cebu City North na si Irma Payod Bitzer ang nanalo sa ika-6 na edisyon ng Mrs. Philippines International. Ginanap ang coronation night nito noong April 4, 2023, sa Grand Ballroom ng Okada, Manila.

Sa simula pa lang ng pageant ay nagpakita si Mrs. Irma na isa siya sa contender para sa coveted crown. Marami kasi siyang special awards na napalunan agad. Kabilang dito ang Best in Festival Costume, Best in Interview, Best in Advocacy Presentation, at Best in Head to Head Talent.

Siya ay isang entrepreneur and ina ng two lovely daughters, aged 5 and 8. si Mrs. Irma ay native ng Ormoc City, Leyte na kumatawan sa Cebu City North sa pageant na ito matapos tanghaling Mrs. Cebu Philippines-Tourism 2022 last November.

Isa siya sa 21 finalists na nagpakita ng talino at poised under pressure sa naturang pageant.

Si Mrs. Irma ay isang CPA na nagtapos sa University of the Philippines -Visayas. Siya ay 39 years old, may taas na 5′ 6″ at ang vital statistics ay 36-25-36.

Ano ang ginawa niyang preparations para sa pageant na ito? Tugon niya, “I really prepared a lot, because I wanted to be the best Irma on the stage. So I enrolled even in a Q & A training and I was going to the gym that I never did before, hahaha!”

Sa Q&A segment, tinanong ang lahat ng finalists kung ano’ng title sa pageant ang gusto nilang makuha, ito ang naging sagot ni Mrs. Bitzer:

“I would like to choose the main crown which is Mrs. Philippines International because I believe I am one who can make the vision of Mrs. Philippines to make people inspired, to share my life story that even without eating during childhood, I was able to triumph over adversity and be successful, becoming an entrepreneur and a beauty queen.”

Ano ang reaction niya nang tinawag ang name niya as Mrs. Philippines International?

“I was very emotional because I did not really aim for the highest crown. I just wanted to do my best and I said to God, ‘God, whatever is the crown that is fit to me, I will accept it with all my heart’. And He gave me more than what I deserved,” masayang pahayag pa niya.

Aniya pa, “I have a lot of plans and I’m very happy to have this crown, because I know that I can use this to inspire more younger generations.

And I’m going back to my town, and… getting a lot of support for the foundation, so that many-many more kids who has difficult access to education can have more access now.”

Nabanggit din niya ang sinusuportahang foundation. “It’s Bukas Palad Foundation, because they’re supporting a holistic education for the younger generation.”
