“Para sa akin. Kasi I mean, you know, I’ve always been a musician who acts rather than an actor who sings. And I’ve always had a huge love for film and I guess after such a long time of not doing any film, and they offered me the role and then I felt parang, ‘Tama ba’to?’
“Kasi I mean we all have our self doubts as an actor, so parang, ‘Talaga ba direk?’
“And then I asked why, and then direk Vince just felt that it was the right choice raw and ayun! Basta weird noong umpisa.”
At ayon pa kay JK, sana ay nabigyan niya ng hustisya ang pagganap niya sa Ako Si Ninoy bilang si Ninoy.
“Kasi medyo malaking role siya and and I know there’s like the whole political aspect to it but at the end of the day you know we’re all actors playing a role and that’s really it.”
