Commissioner of Customs, Rozzano Rufino B. Biazon issued a Customs personnel Order (CPO) No. B-134-023 on designation of Customs officials and employees under acting capacity are now REVOKED and ordered them to return to their permanent plantilla position or mother units indicated in their appointment papers and also required to ensure the proper turn over of duties and function to avoid DISRUPTION in the service rendered.
Failure to report on or before the said designated DEADLINE, September 23, 2013 maybe ground for administrative sanction.
Another customs personnel order (CPO) issued by BOC Human Resource Management Division regarding for the reassignment of Mr. Richard S. Rebong, chief CIIS-ID to report to CIIS office of the director under Dino Tuazon as per instruction of the Commissioner of Customs.
Special Operation Unit of the Customs Intelligence and investigation Service (CIIS) was ordered disbanded or abolish effective immediately to avoid duplication of function.
Last August 28, Commissioner Biazon ordered the abolition of (task forces) offices, units, sections or groups not created by law or by his office.
The main reason was these task forces are only source of extortion and causing delay of processing and releasing of cargo.

This is in line with the government reform project of ‘daang matuwid’ sa BoC.
