Naghihimutok ang isang bakasyonista nang pumunta siya at ang kanyang mga kasamahan sa Siargao.
Twice raw silang nag-request kay Andi na magpakuha ng picture kasama siya, but Andi refused.
Paliwanag ng bakasyonista, he is posting his encounter with Andi not with the sole purpose of discrediting her.
“We just want to know if the humble Andi on social media is the same as Andi in real life…” the man asseverated.
“Because I and my guests experienced that we wanted to take a picture with her twice but she didn’t allow us.”
Oozing with excitement pa raw silang to have a picture taken with Andi dahil bilib sila sa love story nito at ng asawang surfer, but they were actually disappointed.
Andi posted a screenshot of the netizen’s post on her Instagram Story last Wednesday, March 31.
Andi was diplomatic in addressing the issue and there are times when she would laugh out of sheer amusement.
All the while, akala raw ni Andi ay mauunawaan siya ng mga tao sa kanyang pagtangging magpakuha ng picture simula nang talikuran niya ang showbiz way- back in the year 2017.
“But then, now I understand na that’s not the case because of our YouTube channel,” explained Andi.
“And the last thing I want is for you guys to misinterpret it or think that it means I don’t appreciate all of your support.”
Ikinatutuwa raw nilang a lot of people are supportive of their videos that a lot of people consider as “stress reliever.”
“We love knowing and I find it amazing that there are a lot of you that think that a life out here is something to admire, or something to achieve for yourselves.”
Idinagdag pa ni Andi na sana’y unawain raw ng mga taong her life now is a lot different from her showbiz existence.
Hindi raw fair na pagsabihan siyang huwag nang lumabas kung ayaw naman niyang pagbigyan ang hiling ng mga taong makapagpa-picture kasama siya.
“I also hope that you understand that I’m human also.
“There are a lot of reasons why I moved here in the island, one of that is the peace, and simplicity, and being able to enjoy this paradise for what it is.
“Parang ang daya naman kung sabihin n’yo sa ‘kin, ‘Kung ayaw mong magpa-picture, ‘wag kang lumabas,’” she added amused.
“Pa’no ako hindi lalabas?”
She added that as much as possible, she would like to give in to some photo op requests.
There are times when all they did was do some selfies with some people.
But they could not do it most of the time.
“Sana you would also understand na tao lang din kami kagaya ninyo.
“Marami rin kaming responsibilities and kailangang gawin, especially we have three kids,” she said as an after thought.
At this point, she made mention about some people coming to the island and would enter their house without prior notice.
“We also know that the island is small and it’s so easy to look for our house.
“Naiintindihan namin na maraming pumapasok sa bahay namin kasi wala pa kaming gate.”
Andi made it clear that they don’t harbor any plans of making their house a B&B (bed and breakfast) destination.
“Di ba, pag nasa bahay kayo, it’s a place of rest and just a private property?
“So I hope you guys don’t get offended when we get shocked when you go inside, or ask us for pictures while were having lunch, or we have just woken up.”
Andi added, “Honestly, we’re super happy you want to meet us, or you want to see us when you go here in Siargao.
“Pero hindi naman po pinatayo ‘yung bahay namin para pasukin!” she said as an after thought.
