KUWENTO ng dalawang high school student na nagkagustuhan ang pinaka-gist ng The Boy Foretold by the Stars dahil ayon sa manghuhula ay magkakasama sila sa isang retreat kaya natanong si Keann Johnson kung naranasan niya ang magkagusto sa bading noong nasa hay-iskul siya.

Ayoko namang magmukhang guwapong-guwapo sa sarili pero during my high school days I focus mostly on myself, my studies and I also pursuing my career so I’m balancing both. Dagdag pa, “Honestly, I’m heterosexual, but what I always say, I’m open to the fact na for example I eventually do find someone attractive, I can be homosexual. That’s my stand point as of now.”
At walang kagatol-gatol na inamin ni Keann na posible siyang magkagusto sa bading, “yes po, there is. Basta po mahanap ko ‘yung tamang tao para sa akin ay masaya na po ako.”
At kaya open si Keann sa LGBTQ plus ay dahil, “My mom is open lesbian po.”
Ano ang pagkakaiba sa pagpapalaki ng lesbian at straight na babae sa kanilang mga anak?
“Based on being strict hindi naman po. Yes, there is a difference, mas naging open po ako to everything. Na-understand ko po ang different perspective like for example if my mom wasn’t part of the LGBTQ community, I won’t be able to understand ang perspective n’yo po.
“And I think, that’s also another blessing na I was given a chance to have a wonderful mom,” sambit nito.
Ano naman ang tingin ng aktor sa straight guy to gay relationship? “In my insight I think mga 7 years old po my mom admitted to me na she was a lesbian and she helped me understand the situation a lot better and actually I’m glad that it came from her ‘coz as you can see, ‘yung mind set ko pagdating sa LGBTQ plus community had become a lot broad and open. So, my insight about is love has no boundaries.
“Ang mindset ko po kasi as long as masaya ang mama ko, masaya rin ako. That was my understanding of it all because I saw her happy.
“When she was in a heterosexual relationship, I saw she wasn’t happy. She knew in her heart na parang she’s not in love with a man and eventually when she started in love with another woman that was I saw her that she’s genuinely happy and sa totoo lang, it really makes big difference who you love,” kuwento ni Keann.
