Last June 2017, Myrtle Sarrosa was able to finish her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Communications at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City replete with flying colors.
The Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition 4 big winner graduated cum laude.
Myrtle then enumerated the opportunities that came her way after completing her studies.
Before raw kasi, sobra ‘yung impression sa kanya ng mga tao after PBB.
Pagka-graduate raw niya sa UP bilang cum laude, nagkaroon raw siya ng free time to do various things that she wanted to do in her career.
Hindi raw niya ini-limit ang kanyang sarili into doing TV work, she also went into singing and songwriting.
“I went into gaming after college. Kasi noong college, hindi talaga ako naglalaro ng games, e, as in ano talaga ako tutok talaga ako sa pag-aaral.
“So I got into gaming, and I got the chance to travel after that, so I think that was the turning point of my career and as a person.”
Although Myrtle is focused on improving herself as an actress, she has been exploring other possibilities as well — as a performer, an influencer, and an online content creator.
“We have so much time in a day, so ‘yung mga ibinibigay sa akin na mga oras, ginagawa ko doing the things that I love.
“‘Yun nga, I love music, usually I wake up in the morning ‘tapos I play music ‘tapos sumasabay na ako sa pagkanta.
“In the afternoon, I do my work. Pagkatapos in the evening, ‘yun ‘yung opportunity ko to connect with my friends.”
And since ang dami raw niyang time, bago siya matulog, nanonood siya ng one to two episodes ng anime.
At dahil sa pandemic, naulit raw niya ‘yung buong series ng Naruto.
Maisip mo kayang napanood niya lahat ng 800 episodes yata.
“There’s really so much time especially ngayon na everyone’s working from home,” she said as an after thought.
“You hold your time, you don’t have to spend so much time in the traffic.”
Iniintriga pala sa ngayon ang Mercedes Benz ni Myrtle. Kaparehong-kapareho raw kasi ito ng Chedeng ni Atty. Ferdinand Topacio.
‘Di raw kaya may something between the two of them?
Well, Myrtle doesn’t want to comment about it.
Bahala na lang daw kayong mag-isip.
‘Yan ay kung mayroon raw kayong isip. Bwahahahahahahaha!
“So ‘yung time dati na parang nawe-waste natin,” Myrtle went on, “kasi before nagda-drive din ako, parang ngayon nama-maximize ko lahat in doing various things.”
