KAHIT abala sa kanyang acting career, both sa stage at pelikula, pati na sa kanyang hosting job, hindi rin pinababayaan ni Lance Raymundo ang kanyang singing career. Pagdating sa pagiging recording artist, hindi nawawalan ng oras si Lance. In fact, may collaboration album sila ng kanyang kuya Rannie Raymundo.
Esplika ni Lance, “Never ko ‘yun mapapabayaan. It’s my first love and it’s the very first talent I discovered I have. At suwerte rin ako na may studio at label kami because I can record and release music anytime.”
Aniya, “I’m making an entire album under his independent label “Madhouse Music” under the artist name: “Lance Raymundo & The WolfSound.” Hindi ito conflict sa Viva release ko because Viva distributes my music as solo artist “Lance Raymundo.” So under Madhouse label, ilalabas ko Lahat ng mga experimental sounds ko. I write all the songs and Rannie Raymundo produces and arranged them. But we plan on making at least one full songwriting collaboration which we will also include sa album.
“The first release is a funky song entitled “HBSL.” Out on Spotify & Youtube now and part of the regular playlist of Madhouse Radio, the online radio station that plays 100% OFM (Original Filipino Music).”
Paano niya ide-describe ang HBSL na ang meaning ay Honey Baby Sugar Lover? “It’s a mix of funk & disco. Iyong mga verse is funk, pero pagdating sa chorus, biglang shift sa disco.”
Kumusta ang feedback ng song niya? “I’d say pretty good kasi wala namang promo ito, at all but the song already has over three thousand streams within a week sa Spotify. Ang lyric video naman has a total of around five thousand views.”
Bukod sa kanyang songs, dapat abangan ang forthcoming movie nilang Penduko. Nakatakda na silang mag-shooting very soon ng pelikulang pagbibidahan ni Matteo Guidicelli at pamamahalaan ni Direk Jason Paul Laxamana.
