“I’m so happy at feeling blessed. I have been waiting for another opportunity of winning an award, tapos International pa. Answered prayers ito, I have been lucky to be working with Laut family and be directed by Louie Ignacio.
“I’m thankful that I was able to represent our country as a nominee for Best Supporting Actress for the movie Laut in Asean film festival. I’m thankful for the blessing na nakuha po natin yung award and it’s my honor to be nominated alongside magagaling na actors natin like Ms. Sue Prado and Ms. Cherry Pie Picache. Sa lahat ng iba pang Filipino nominees and winners, congrats po,” ito ang ipinahayag ni Ana Capri nang makahuntahan namin siya recently.
Itinanghal si Ana bilang Best Supporting Actress sa Asean International Film Festival and Awards (AIFFA) na ginanap sa Kuching, Malaysia. Hindi nakadalo rito si Ana dahil naoperahan siya sa liver.
Dagdag pa ni Ana, “Thank you to Ms. Baby Go and Mr. Romy Lindain of BG Productions, also to Mr. Ferdy lapuz, our producer and my dear friend Dennis Evangelista for trusting me. Congrats din to Rain Yamson… sa lahat ng mga sumuporta at sa mga kaibigan sa media, and to my family and friends, thank you po. And to my better half… I love you baby, we did it.”
Nabanggit pa ni Ana na wish niyang gumawa ulit ng movie sa BG Productions at kay Direk Louie. “Yes of course, BG Production has been good to me and it would be nice to work with Direk Louie Ignacio again.”
Ayon pa kay Ana, gusto niyang mas mag-focus sa kanyang career ngayon.
“Medyo naparami yung travel, eh,” nakatawang saad niya. “I would like to focus on my career now, especially may magandang blessing na dumating. I’m positive it would help me back on track.
“I’m still available for a TV series, hopefully I’ll have a new one soon. Sana may kumuha sa akin sa soap opera soon,” nakatawang saad pa ni Ana.
