Xia Vigor, naging instant international sensation dahil kay Taylor Swift

NAGING instant hit ang cute na child star na si Xia Vigor dahil sa impersonation niya kay Taylor Swift sa Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids ng ABS-CBN.

Actually, hindi lang ito sa Pilipinas, kundi ma-ging sa international scene man ay nabalita at pinag-usapan si Xia.

Ayon sa Tweet ni Perez Hilton, isang kilalang American blogger, “This little girl doing @TaylorSwift13 is everything I needed right now!! The ending, though!!

Maging ang host ng Good Morning Britain na si Piers Morgan ay napansin din ang kakaibang performance ni Xia sa YFSF:Kids, ngunit may pagka-epal nga lang ang dating nito nang sabihin niyang: “It’s one of the creepiest things I’ve ever watched. I don’t like it. A lot of people agree with me. This is the sexualisation of a young girl. I feel really uncomfortable watching that.

“It shouldn’t be what a seven-year-old should be doing. I’ve got a five-year-old daughter, if she did that in two years’ time I would be really uncomfortable. We had a lot of girls come on Britain’s Got Talent and we all felt really uncomfortable.”

Dagdag pa niya, “I don’t like it. I don’t think it’s right. Nothing against this girl.”

Umalma naman ang mga magulang ni Xia sa mga banat na ito ni Piers.

“He’s wrong … We know the bigger picture over here so we don’t worry about Piers Morgan. He’s wrong. He doesn’t understand the context. The culture here is very, very different. People in the Philippines see things differently.

“On the show next week, Xia is going to dress up as Axl Rose. It’s like a pantomime. It’s been taken out of context. She’s not going a friend’s birthday party in high heels and lipstick. Tapos ay naging co-host siya sa segment ng Xia and Kuys with Vhong Navarro and Billy Crawford sa It’s Showtime. Lumabas din siya sa FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Wansapanataym at iba pang programa ng Kapamilya Network. Nga-yon ay isa si Xia sa bida sa drama-series ng Dos titled Langit Lupa.

Kung accurate ang nabasa ko sa PEP.ph na pahayag ng tatay ni Xia, may Hollywood director daw na interesado kay Xia para gumanap bilang Shirley Temple sa isang Hollywood project.

Anyway, marami ang humanga sa talentong ipinakita ni Xia sa YFSF:K. Natural kasi ang ga-ling niya sa pagkanta at pagsayaw, pati na ang projection at paggaya kay Taylor ay swak na swak ang galing ng seven year old na Pinay-British child star.

Sa panig naman ni Xia, ito ang pahayag niya after ng kanyang pinag-usapan at nag-trending na performance bilang Taylor Swift bulilit version.
