CDC, BOC-NAIA, PAIRCARGO align operations to fast-track transhipment cargoes
PASAY CITY, Philippines — Clark Development Corporation (CDC) President Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera and her team conducted a courtesy visit and official alignment meeting with Port of NAIA District Collector Atty. Maria Yasmin M. Obillos-Mapa and People’s Air Cargo and Warehousing Co., Inc. (Paircargo) President Mr. Joseph Madrigal to streamline the movement of transshipment cargoes between NAIA and the Clark Freeport Zone.
Also in attendance were NAIA Deputy Collector for Operations Coll Wilnora Cawile, Deputy Collector for Assessment Coll Dan Oquias, CBWD Chief Atty Wally Ann Yumul, Paircargo Special Deputy Collector Dr Siegfred L Manaois and Asst SDC Irene Moreno Concio and staffs, while Mr Madrigal was with Chief Operations Officer Michael P Narvaez, Operations Manager Chris Avila and their team.
The engagement focused on customs warehouse coordination, bottleneck resolution and overall trade facilitation. Moreover the Paircargo management formally committed to fully resolving the current backlog of cargoes by the end of July. (BONG SON)
