SA LAYONG palakasin ang poder sa Southeast Asia, nagpulong noong 1 Pebrero 2024 sina Ambassador Gina Jamoralin at CEO ng International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) Mr. Patrick Chan sa Jakarta upang pag-usapan ang pinakabagong updates sa proyekto ng kompanyang East Java Multipurpose Terminal (EJMT) sa Lamongan Regency, na matatagpuan sa hilagang-kanluran ng Surabaya sa Indonesia.

Eksperto at patuloy na nagpapakahusay sa pamamahala ng mga pasilidad sa daungan mula nang itatag noong Disyembre 1987, ngayon ay may 32 terminals sa 19 bansa, at may mga pangunahing proyekto sa Filipinas gaya ng Manila International Container Terminal (MICP) at Manila North Harbor Port (NorthPort), ang estratehikong pagpapalawak ng ICTSI sa Indonesia ay nagpapahiwatig ng layunin ng kompanya na magpatakbo ng mga pasilidad na pangdaungan na lumilikha ng mahusay na pagbabago at pangmatagalang pag-unlad.

ICTSI EJMT PH Ambassador Indonesia — Patrick Chan, East Java Multipurpose Terminal (EJMT) chief executive officer, called on Her Excellency, Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia Gina Jamoralin last 1 February to present recent developments on International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI) new project in Indonesia. EJMT’s expansion broke ground last October that includes a 300-meter quay line, breakwater, super heavy lift breakbulk deck and dredging of the navigational channel to 13.5 meters deep, among other developments that will transform the terminal into a modern trade gateway. Located in Lamongan Regency, northwest of Surabaya, EJMT is positioned to support the thriving economy of East Java and Indonesia. Ang proyektong EJMT ay magkakaloob sa East Java Province, sa pamamagitan ng mga pasilidad ng Lamongan Regency, na maalalayan ang sektor ng pagmamanupaktura sa tuloy-tuloy at mahusay na transportasyon habang nag-aambag sa economic growth ng rehiyon at sumusuporta sa mga lokal na industriya.

ICTSI EJMT gets more equipment — East Java Multipurpose Terminal (EJMT), International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI) business unit in Lamongan Regency, Indonesia, recently took delivery of two new Konecranes Gottwald post-Panamax ESP.8 mobile harbor cranes (MHC). The new equipment will support EJMT in handling bulk, project and container cargo once the terminal commences operations in September.
