MISTULANG inuulan na naman ng blessings ang talented na singer/songwriter na si Marion Aunor. Marami kasing good news na dumating sa kanya lately.
Unang biyaya sa panganay ni Ms. Lala Aunor ay ang paanyaya sa kanya ng Berlin Music Video Awards.
Incredibly grateful for my music video to be given recognition by a prestigious award giving body all the way in Berlin Music Video Awards. Also want to say thank you and congratulations to Direk Peewee Gonzales and the entire team for creating an amazing music video for my song “Nahulog.”
Nakita namin ang FB post na ito, kaya inusisa namin si Marion hinggil dito.
Reply sa amin ni Marion sa FB, “For the Berlin Music Video Awards, na-select po ‘yung music video ko for “Nahulog” as part of their Silver Screenings, meaning, it will be shown sa festival sa Berlin. Sa June 12 po ‘yung event and I was invited to go.
“Nagulat na lang po ako na napili siya. But I’m very grateful na mabibigyan ng recognition sa Germany ‘yung music video ko.”
Bukod sa nagulat, anong na-feel niya nang nalamang napili para ma-feature sa Berlin Music Video Awards ang kanyang single?
“Grateful po,” matipid na sambit pa ni Marion.
Incidentally, ang aktor na kasama o leading man ni Marion sa naturang single niya ay si Marco Gallo.
Ayon kay Marion, after ng event na ito ay hindi pa niya naplano kung kailan ang balik niya sa ‘Pinas. Pero ang younger sis daw niyang si Ashley Aunor o Cool Cat Ash ang makakasama niya rito.
Anyway, after ng invite sa Berlin Music Video Awards, sumungkit naman ng dalawang tropeo si Marion sa 15th PMPC Star Awards for Music.
Ito’y sa kategoryang Revival Recording of the Year para sa Nosi Balasi from Viva Records and Wild Dream Records at sa Female R&B Artist of the Year for Traydor Na Pag-ibig mula Viva Records.
Dito’y nagpasalamat si Marion sa mga taga-PMPC, kay Direk Darryl Yap, kay Boss Vic del Rosario at sa kanyang Viva family, sa kapatid na si Ash, at sa kanyang mahal na mommy na si Ms. Lala Aunor.

Nagtapos siya sa Ateneo University ng kursong Communication Technology Management at nag-aaral muli sa Berklee College of Music online para sa kanyang Master’s Certificate in Songwriting.
Incidentally, si Marion ay isang Grammy voting member rin.
May iba pa bang Pinoy na botante sa Grammy’s? “Hindi ko lang po alam,” pakli niya.
Ani Marion, “Every year po ako nagvo-vote sa Grammy’s ever since I became a voting member. I became a member noong 2018 and 2019 po ako nag-attend ng Grammy’s.”
