ITINANGHAL na Best Actor si Mikoy Morales samantalang Best Supporting Actress naman si Dolly de Leon sa katatapos na Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival 2023 na ginanap noong August 13 sa Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).
Dalawang pelikula naman ang humakot ng mga parangal, ito ang Iti Mapupukaw ni Carl Joseph Papa at ang Rookie ni Samantha Lee.
Nagwagi si Mikoy sa epektibong pagganap nito sa pelikulang Tether samantalang si Dolly ay mula sa pelikulang Iti Mapupukaw.
Nag-uwi rin ng Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) for full-length film, at Best Film (full-length feature film) ang Iti Mapupukaw.
Napanalunan naman ng pelikulang Rookie ang Best Editing, Audience Choice (full-length feature film) award, at Best Actress para kay Pat Tingjuy.
Itinampok sa film festival ang sampung full-length films at 10 short films.
