Macbeth’s 20th Anniversary Show pasabog

AMINADO ang direktor ng Macbeth’s 20th Anniversary Show na si Benjie Estanislao na kakaiba at bago ang konseptong magaganap sa October 8 sa Metrotent Convention Center sa Pasig City.

“It is a big surprise, a normal big events where there are two bands set up in two different stage and and at the sametime a catwalk in both set up pero leading them both in one. This is a show you want to see na superbands and you have a fashion shows. There’s a lot, lot more, iba-ibang surprises din ito,” ani Direk Benjie sa isinagawang media conference noong Miyerkoles.

Sinabi pa ng direktor na mahirap ang gagawin niyang show. “It’s difficult na sabay na tumutugtog ang dalawang banda tapos sabay ng pagrampa ng mga modelo tapos nagpapasa-pasahan sila.”

Bagama’t mahirap excited naman ang naturang direktor.  “I’m actually nervous and excited at the same. This is the time for us to pull off this kind of event, this kind of shows.”

Tsika naman ni France Santiago, marketing director ng Macbeth na lahat ng naka-line up sa 20th anniversary ay connected sa Macbeth. “Kaya rin namin sila kinuha dahil we are celebrating our 20th anniversary. Kinuha namin ‘yung 20 favorite bands ni Macbeth from different genras and underground music kasi ‘yun ‘yung aim namin—to merge ‘yung dalawang world—mainstream and underground music into one event. So, ginagawa namin na magkaroon ng fair opportunities lahat ng banda para rito sa event na ito.”

Tiniyak pa ng direktor ng Macbeth 20th Anniversary Show na matutuwa ang mga manonood sa napakagandang set up ng stage nila na ngayon lang din makikita ng netizens.  “This is the very first time, from the bands, from the line up experience even ‘yung experience n’yo sa pagpasok pa lang there is a big bang going to happen. And if you want to experience it, come and join us.

“What is good at Macbeth is they are uplifting our culture, in the fashion industry, in the elite world, medyo may ibang standards. But that is what our culture is doing, we’re breaking all these barriers as Macbeth is doing also. This is the first time I believe, na in the Philippine history, to have a big event in this magnitude, putting bands and a fashion show at the same time.

Parang ‘yung sa Victoria’s Secret with Maroon 5 kaya lang sa kanila isang band lang, dito two bands.”

Nakababaliw man ang pakulong ito ng Macbeth, isa lang ang tiyak, matutuwa ang manonood dahil marami silang sorpresa at pasabog.

Makakasama nila ang mga kilalang singer tulad ni Rico Blanco at mga bandang Mayonnaise, Chocolate Factory, Sandwich, Chelsea Alley, Urbandub, Hilera, Even, Snakefight, Sucketseven, Fragments, Chndtr, Fastpitch, Soapdish, Written By The Stars, Divina, Lilith, Shotgun Combo, Imbue No Kudos, Rouge and Macbeth All-Stars and Superband.

Ang 20th Anniversary Show ay siya ring official launching ng Lady Macbeth at Macbeth Underwear. Ito rin ang celebration ng ika-10 taon ng Macbeth sa Pilipinas at ang 20 years sa mundo.
