Savings ni Paulo, naubos, Goyo napakagastos

 

SA pelikulang Goyo:  Ang Batang Heneral na mapapanood na sa Setyembre 5 na idinirehe ni Jerrold Tarog ay isa si Paulo Avelino sa producer na hindi lang nabanggit sa presscon.

Pero nabanggit ito ng aktor nang maka-tsikahan siya ng ilang entertainment press.

Aniya, “I produced films on the side eversince.”

Naging co-producer si Paulo sa pelikula nila nina Maja Salvador, Dominic Roco, at Jasmin Curtis Smith na I’m Drunk I Love You mula sa TBA Studios at Artikulo Uno na ipinalabas noong 2017 at s Tarog din ang direktor.

Anyway, naikuwento sa amin ng kaibigan ni Paulo na nagkuwento sa kanya ang aktor na sumasakit ang ulo nito dahil sa sobrang laking gastos ng pelikula niya at halos masaid na lahat ang ipon sa ilang taon niya sa showbiz.

Kaya tinanong namin si Pau tungkol dito na naubos na ang lifetime savings nito.

“Hindi naman lifetime savings, sapat lang. A big chunk of the film actually came from our major producers (TBA Studios),” kaswal nitong sagot.

PAHINGA MUNA
SA SHOWBIZ

HINDI kaya dahil sumakit ang ulo ng aktor at pagod na inabot sa shooting kaya gusto nitong magpahinga o magretiro muna sa showbiz base sa pahayag niya sa presscon.

“Not naman retire, It’s like a break. I’ve been doing this for 10 years, so I think pahinga naman. Siguro bakasyon ng kaunti. Slow down muna tayo, I will still be active. I will be doing stuff,” pahayag ng aktor.

Hindi naman talaga puwedeng mawala ang aktor dahil may General’s Daughter TV series siya mula sa Dreamscape Entertainment.

Kuwento ng aktor kaya gusto muna niyang magpahinga, “I always want to try new things and test things. Break lang. Hindi naman ako mawawala. Parang mas gusto ko lang na mas relaxed. Ayaw ko lang nang naghahabol-habol sa schedule ko kasi, magsabay, lagare. Gusto ko mag-relax lang. Mas slower pace lang. Importante sa atin ‘yung work, life ay balanced. I think ‘yun ang kulang ko. Work, work lang sa akin.”

Anyway, sana mapanood ng millennials ang Goyo:  Ang Batang Heneral para naman magkaroon ng idea kung anong nangyari sa bansa natin noong panahon ng mga Amerikano.

Aniya, ”I love the country eversince and after researching and reading so many stuff, actually this type of film encourage me and sparks something in me to research more and find more about our history especially during the time of Americans came here. That our history is not really (discuss) talk to the younger generations.  It’s just made me more curious and gave me more love and more hope for our country. 

“I hope Goyo could get the younger audience to watch this movie for them to ignite and sparks in them to have more love and hope for this country.”

Naniniwala kaming another blockbuster movie ito ng TBA Studios, Artikulo Uno, at Globe Studios dahil much awaited ang Goyo:  Ang Batang Heneral lalo’t humataw ang Heneral Luna na kumita ng P256-M.

Kasama rin sa Goyo sina Carlo Aquino, Mon Confiado, Epy Quizon, Gwen Zamora, Karl Medina, Aaron Villaflor, Alvin Anson, Art Acuna, Ronnie Lazaro, Empress Shuck, Perla Bautista, Jojit Lorenzo, Carlo Cruz, Che Ramos, Matt Evans, RK Bagatsing, Stephanie Sol, Miguel Faustmann, Jason Dewey, Bret Jackson, Ethan Salvador, Robert Sena, at Benjamin Alves na siya naman ang bida sa 3rd installment na Manuel L. Quezon.
