Amazing: Disabled man nagboluntaryo sa unang head transplant

083014 AMAZINGLondon, April 9 (ANI) – Nag-boluntaryo ang isang lalaking may kapansanan na sumailalim sa kauna-unahang head transplant sa mundo.

Si Valery Spiridonov, 30, computer scientist by profession, dumaranas ng ‘fatal muscle-wasting disease’, ay aminadong bagamat siya ay natatakot, ang kanyang kondisyon ay lumulubha habang lumilipas ang mga taon, ayon sa ulat ng The Mirror.

Umaasa si Spiridonov na ang36-hour operation ay maisagawa sa susunod na taon.

Ayon sa controversial Italian surgeon na si Dr. Sergio Canavero, nagsabing maaari niyang putulin ang ulo ng tao at ilipat ito sa healthy donor body, “would not wish this on anyone.”

Gayonman, sinabi ng mga kritiko si Dr. Canavero, nagsusumikap na makaipon ng pondo para sa extraordinary procedure, na siya ay nasisiraan ng bait at tinawag siyang si “Dr Frankenstein.” (ANI)
