Ang pagbabago sa BOC

Ipinag-utos ni Customs Commissioner John Sevilla na ayusin ang mga daily time record (DTR), application of leave of absence and performance evaluation report of all Customs personnel to be properly recorded.

Kasabay ng order ni Commissioner sa BoC district collectors: that all vessel and aircraft be recorded during arrival and departure effective immediately so it can be recorded to E2M and failure of the responsible officers will be pu-nished or be dismissed from the service.

Ito ay para nga naman maging maayos ang record ng lahat. Hindi lang dito natatapos ang pagre-record, ipinag-utos din na to conduct a physical count of all property of customs or inventory ng lahat ng mga euipments and other office materials serviceable or not sa mga offices. Isa kasi ito sa mga requirement ng Commission of Audit. Ipinalilinis rin ni Comm. ang kapaligiran ng bureau at working areas.

Sa nakalipas na panahon kanya-kanya ang pagre-record ng mga DTR at ang iba ay walang makitang file of leave. Kahit absent ay tila present pa rin sa DTR. Hindi ba nila alam na this is a form of stealing government time na pwedeng ikaso sa kanila. Kaya pati ang mga pagpasok at pag-uwi ng Customs employees ay ipinamo-monitor nang husto ni Commissioner Sevilla.

Sa wakas naitama na ang maling kinaugalian ng maraming customs personnel and officials sa bureau.
