Joyce Penas, a woman of substance

FASHION designer Joyce Penas Pilarsky is a woman of substance.

Kahit na past 50 na kasi siya ay hindi siya nag-stop para ma-achieve ang success.

Just recently, Joyce was adjudged Classic Mrs. Asia International Global 2014 sa competition na ginanap sa Malaysia.

She shared that it was by good fortune that she was asked to join a pageant, Mrs. Asia International Global 2014.

“There was somebody who asked me if I’m interested to join a pageant but I don’t really need to compete here. They asked me if I’m interested and then they would give my name. They have a panel of judges and they will choose who will be representing the country,”  chika niya.

Sa question and answer ay natanong siya about plastic surgery and her answer was: “If it is very necessary then go ahead because it depends on the person. I will not say anything but if you feel that it is necessary then go ahead.”

Ayaw paawat ni Joyce. Nag-aaral siya ngayon ng kanyang master’s study sa University of Makati, taking up Alternative Medicine “because I want people to be healthier.”

As a designer, Joyce has joined quite a number of Fashion Week events, Paris, Germany, New York, London and Abu Dhabi. In October, she will participate in Fashion Week in Boston and New York.
