Congrats 12th member of The Laguna Sangguniang Panlalawigan Boy Zuñiga

PALAGAY natin ay lalong SISIGLA ang Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Laguna nang maitalagang ika-12 miyembro ang kaibigan nating si Liga ng mga Barangay President Lorenzo “Boy” Baldemor Zuñiga, Jr.

Si Boy Zuñiga ay PUNONG BARANGAY ng Barangay San Ildefonso at noong Disyembre 9 ay nagdeklarang tatakbong LIGA President.

Last December 18, nakakuha ng 15 boto si Zuñiga  kontra sa 12 boto ng kanyang kalaban.

He will be the 12th member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Laguna, the 11th being Rizal Town First Councilor Jeffrey A. Palce who was earlier elected president of the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) – Laguna Chapter.

By operation of the law, Punong Barangay Boy Zuñiga will vacate his seat at the Sangguniang Bayan of Alaminos that he first (and last) attended it weekly session last Monday, December 16, to assume his post as ex-officio member of the Provincial Legislative Body, and in his place, Punong Barangay Noel Fandiño of Barangay Cuatro will assume the position of ex-officio (or 9th) member of the municipal legislative body of Alaminos.

Incidentally, though component cities, the Cities of San Pablo, Calamba, Santa Rosa and Biñan have their own respective Liga ng mga Barangay, and they are not considered members of the Provincial Federation of the Association of Barangay Captains.
