No brownout sa Pacman-Floyd fight dapat tiyakin

Inihayag ni Senate President Pro Tempore Ralph Recto na dapat tiyakin ng Department of Energy (DoE) na walang magaganap na brownout sa itinakdang laban nina Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao at Floyd Mayweather Jr., sa Mayo 2.

Ayon kay Recto, posibleng magalit ang mga mamamayan dahil ito ang araw ng pinakahihintay na laban nina Pacquiao at Mayweather.

Binigyang diin ni Recto, dapat gamitin ni Pangulong Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III ang emergency powers na hinihingi sa Kongreso para maiwasan ang pagkakaroon ng blackouts ngayong summer na mahigpit ang pangangailangan sa koryente lalo na sa Mayo 2.

“The effectiveness of the emergency powers will be tested on May 2,” diin ni Recto.  

“I think one promissory note we should be asking from the Department of Energy (DOE) is that there will be adequate supply of electricity on the day of the Pacquiao-Mayweather bout,” 

Sakaling hindi mapanood ang laban nina Pacman at Mayweather tiyak maisisisi ito sa gobyerno.

“You have the powers, you will have hundreds of millions of pesos, you have the time, so please see to it that there will be no brownout not only on May 2 but throughout summer,” Dagdag ni Recto.
