SA guesting ni Carla Abellana sa Startalk noong Linggo, April 13 ay inamin niya na hiwalay na sila ni Geoff Eigenmann. Si Heart Evangelista ang nag-interview kay Carla.
Ang unang tinanong agad ni Heart kay Carla ay ‘Are you still together?’ na ang ibig niyang sabihin ay kung sila pa ba ni Geoff. Ang sagot ni Carla ay, “Before I answer that I just wanna say napakahirap to be on TV siyempre.
“It’s such a personal struggle, I didn’t want to have to come, you know, I didn’t want to have to come out on TV to be able to say.
“Pero siyempre we are, you know, public figures, our relationship’s also public, though ‘yung mga pinagdaraanan namin very personal.
“I owe it to the fans na rin to tell the truth, we can’t keep denying or we can’t keep hiding the truth.
“Hindi naman kami puwedeng magsinungaling sa almost four years na relationship namin ni Geoff. I remember I was the first one pa na nagsabi na, ‘Yes, Geoff and I are officially together!’
“So you know, it’s just right, I believe na ako na rin ‘yung dapat magsabi that we’re no longer together.”

At ang dahilan ng kanilang break-up?
“I wish it were easy. I wish it were just one reason, pero hindi, eh.
“You know Geoff and I are two different people. And we’re too different na there are just so many reasons.
“We don’t share the same values.
“Mas madalas hindi kami nagkakasundo kaysa nagkakasundo.
“So you know, mahirap kasi for me, it was the small things talaga, eh.
“Small details, small things as compared to the grand gestures, grand anything.
“It was the small things that contributed to just one big thing.
“We were too different talaga, mas nagka-clash pa kami kaysa nagkakasundo kami.
“So ang daming reasons and I wish puwede kong i-enumerate isa-isa ‘yon pero hindi na lang.
“Siyempre, I respect Geoff. I respect myself kahit paano pa rin.
“So hindi ko na idedetalye kung ano ‘yung reasons na ‘yon.
“There are just too many reasons, pero hindi talaga namin kaya na.”

May third party involved ba sa hiwalayan nila ni Geoff?
“”Okay thanks for asking, kasi I want to make it clear na wala talaga.
“I want to make it clear, I want to clarify na wala.
“Kung mayroon man po kayong nababasa or nababalitaan na may nai-involve, wala ho. Ang layo, napakalayo niyon sa mga reason.
“Walang kinalaman ito sa kahit sinong nakatrabaho na namin, nakakatrabaho ngayon or makakatrabaho pa in the future.
“It has absolutely nothing to do with anybody else, it’s just Geoff and I talaga,” paglinaw pa ni Carla.
