INSTEAD of finding the missing link to the puzzle ay mas maraming tanong tuloy ang umaalingawngaw sa chance of a lifetime pa manding ibinigay kay Deniece Cornejo in her live guesting on Startalk nitong February 2.
That Sunday episode yielded five parts para mailatag ng programa ang istorya, ‘ika nga, from the sequence (of events) to the consequence (nasa legal aspect na ang usapin).
Admittedly, it was a tough task na sa kalagitnaan ng aming pagsusulat para maging balanse sa dalawang panig ang kuwento, we almost gave up on the job. Oo nga’t may side si Vhong through his lawyer Atty. Dennis Manalo, but that was just about it.
Deniece went live, so did her lead counsel na bagamat nakapanayam via phone patch enjoyed his how many minutes of airtime for the side of their story.
Buti na lang, kahit mas mahaba ang exposure in favour of Deniece, the viewers believed that all she confessed was a bucketful of falsehoods. Na para lang mabaling sa kanya ang public sympathy—or so she thought—she caused a tsunami of copious tears herself!
And the rest of her family members?
According to Deniece, her dad—much as he would like to come home to her rescue—is in the US. Fine, Deniece has advised her father na huwag nang umuwi, pero magulang ka, you know what’s best for your child who was “raped.”
If so, Antipolo is not a far-flung place para magbigay man lang ng words of support ang kanyang ina.
Even then, nasaan mang lupalop ang ina ni Deniece, shouldn’t she have come out in defense of her “rape victim”-daughter? Pati ba kanyang ina, Deniece wants out of this whole mess?
Still in her Startalk guesting, Deniece made reference to an unnamed younger sibling.
But what we were most sure about in terms of “grand,” Deniece’s exposure was a grand display of her version of the story that the entire nation did not take hook, line and sinker…as in nang bonggang-bongga!
Here’s hoping that the public gets a clearer picture kung sino nga ba si Deniece Cornejo aside from her certified showbiz looks.
