GALIT na galit si Jasmine Curtis Smith kay 4th District Rep. Bong Suntay dahil sa pambabastos nito sa  kanyang ate na si Anne Curtis.

Hindi nakapagpigil ang aktres sa paglalabas ng sama ng loob sa pamamagitan ng sunod-sunod na post sa X matapos mapanood ang naging pahayag ni Suntay patungkol sa kanyang kapatid.

Nangyari ito sa pagdinig ng House Committee on Justice sa Kongreso para sa impeachment complaint laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.

“Minsan nasa Shangri-La ako, nakita ko si Anne Curtis. Ang ganda-ganda pala niya. 

“You know, may desire sa loob ko na nag-init talaga, at na-imagine ko na lang kung ano ang puwedeng mangyari. Pero siyempre hanggang imagination lang ’yon,” ang sabi ni Suntay sa hearing.

Binengga naman agad ng ilang miyembro ng komite ang pahayag ni Suntay kasabay ng paghahain ng mosyon para tanggalin sa official records ng pagdinig ang nabanggit na bahagi ng manifestation ng kongresista.

Kasunod nito, binanatan ng mga netizen at ilang celebrities si Suntay at nanawagang mag-resign sa kanyang posisyon dahil sa kabastusang ginawa kay Anne.

Isa nga sa mga unang nag-react sa isyu ay ang kapatid ni Anne na si Jasmine. Narito ang buong pahayag ng Kapuso star bilang pagtatanggol sa ate niya na mababasa sa Facebook.

“Respect is not complicated. If we want safer environments for our daughters, nieces, and future leaders, accountability must begin with those elected to represent us.”
