VP SARA OIC NI FM JR

ITINALAGA ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., si Vice President Sara Duterte bilang officer-in-charge (OIC) habang nasa Indonesia at Singapore para sa state visit mula 4-7 Setyembre 2022.

Nakasaad sa Special Order No. 75, ang paghirang kay Duterte bilang OIC o mangangasiwa sa araw-araw na operasyon ng Office of the President at general administration ng Executive Department.

“If necessary, Duterte may act for and on behalf of the President, except on matters that the President is required by the Constitution to act in person, during this time that the President is outside the Republic of the Philippines from 04-07 September 2022.”

Inatasan ang lahat ng departamento at ahensiya ng gobyerno na makipagtulungan kay Duterte para magampanan ang kanyang mga tungkulin bilang OIC.

“All acts of the Vice President for and on behalf of the President pursuant to this Order shall be deemed acts of the President unless disapproved or reprobated by the President.”

Lumipad kahapon si FM Jr., patungong Indonesia para sa dalawang araw na state visit mula 4-6 Setyembre 2022, sa paanyaya ni Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

Habang nasa Singapore siya mula 6-7 Setyembre 2022 sa imbitasyon ni Singaporean President Halimah Yacob.

Sinabi ni Department of Migrant Worker Secretary Toots Ople, posibleng talakayin nina FM Jr., at Widodo ang kaso ng Pinay drug convict na si Mary Jane Veloso.

Kinompirma ni Ople, batid ni FM Jr., ang kaso ni Veloso at ang pamilya ng Pinay drug convict ay nagpadala ng liham sa DMW noong Biyernes.

Ipinauubaya ni Ople sa Department of Foreign Affairs ang paghahayag ng detalye kaugnay sa kaso ni Veloso.

Sa kasalukuyan aniya ay may 7,448 Pinoy sa Indonesia. (ROSE NOVENARIO)
